FAQ's
How do I accept my student loans?
- Log into the student portal.
- Access the Financial Aid and Scholarships module.
- Select the correct Award Year from the dropdown at the top right.
- If you haven't already, answer any pending questions and complete any pending requirements.
- Once you have been awarded, click on the Award Offer tab to review your cost of attendance and awards.
- If you are eligible and wish to accept a loan, you can do so in the Take Action dropdown next to the offered amount. You can accept the entire amount, a portion, or none of it - but you should always borrow responsibly.
- After reviewing your awards and making your loan selections, click Submit.
Ten days prior to the first day of class, financial aid begins to disburse for eligible students; your awards will be credited directly to your billing account. Any remaining funds after your balance is paid will be issued by 海角社区 Business Services (SBS) as a refund to help you pay for other educational expenses. To get your refund as fast as possible, sign up for direct deposit here; to check the status of your refund, .
If your financial aid is not enough to cover your tuition and fees, you will need to make payment arrangements.
What is my financial aid status?
There are several factors that can impact your eligibility for financial aid:
- Enrollment level.
- Changes to your financial aid application.
- Requirements of specific types of aid.
- Meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements.
- Availability of funding.
Please keep in mind that financial aid is disbursed by semester.
I want more/less loans, but I can't change it on Goldmine. What should I do?

I'm not enrolled full-time. Will I get less money?
Financial aid is awarded assuming full-time enrollment but may be adjusted if you enroll less than full-time. Please review the Enrollment Level page for more information.
