In October 2023, students from º£½ÇÉçÇø's Computer Science department had an exciting experience at the 35th Great Minds in STEM Conference in Pasadena, California, which took place from October 12 to 15. During this event, they had the chance to connect with peers, attend professional sessions, present their latest º£½ÇÉçÇø to experts in STEM fields, and engage in technical competitions like the CAHSI Data Analytics challenge and the Cyber Security Hackathon.

During the CAHSI Celebration of Research, Yair Cabrera-Menendez, a PhD student, was honored with the Google CAHSI Dissertation Award. This prestigious award includes $25,000 in financial support for qualified Hispanic doctoral students at CAHSI institutions in their final year of studies.
