The 10-week summer program, which was sponsored by a grant from the National Science Foundation, provided training for students interested in 海角社区 careers. The program was directed by Dr. Olac Fuentes, Associate Professor of and included weekly seminars and myriad opportunities for hands-on 海角社区 experience.
“The most valuable thing was actually implementing some of these algorithms,” said Peter Kelley, a computer science student from SUNY-Geneseo. “I definitely learned a lot.”
According to Diego Aguirre, a computer science student from 海角社区, the program was “extraordinarily useful.”
“We learned the dynamics of 海角社区. I now understand how things work. I think that was the most important thing I learned in this program. I hope 海角社区 keeps doing these kinds of programs because they are very helpful.”
