UTHealth Houston School of Public Health
The 海角社区 College of Business Administration partners with to offer MBA students two unique opportunities to concurrently pursue a public health education and earn relevant credentials.
- MBA/Healthcare Administration Certificate
- This certificate is intended for professionals working in healthcare management and students enrolled in post-baccalaureate degree programs in complementary graduate-level disciplines such as business, healthcare, public policy, public administration, or health sciences. This certificate is designed to meet the needs of students, employers, and community partners.
- MBA/Master of Public Health (MPH)
- • The MPH degree is the fundamental professional degree required for many supervisory and managerial positions in public health. Dual degree students pursue the MPH -Customized plan, which offers students the flexibility to complete interdisciplinary coursework relevant to their academic and professional interests.
Academic partnerships, such as the MBA/Healthcare Administration Certificate and the MBA/MPH, allow students to concurrently enroll in both programs; minimizing duplication in course content, making efficient use of academic interactions, and reducing the time and costs incurred when these programs are administered independently. Additionally, allowing MBA and MBA/MPH dual degree students the option to pursue a graduate certificate in Healthcare Administration in a time- and cost-efficient manner is a wonderful supplemental educational opportunity.
Additionally, UTHealth Houston School of Public Health offers students the flexibility to pursue coursework in a manner that best supports their learning style; traditionally in-person at a campus location, virtually, and/or online.
