Eligibility

• Faculty, staff, and students are eligible to use products on º£½ÇÉçÇø-owned or personal machines
• Agreement supports use of products in instruction and academic º£½ÇÉçÇø
• Licensing is renewed annually and is available only to active students, faculty, and staff

Access / Download

• Enter your @utep.edu or @miners.utep.edu email at the following URL:
• Click each corresponding link to request products; use campus credentials when prompted
• Fill out forms multiple times for installations on multiple machines (need one key per machine)
• Licensing information can be found at user.wolfram.com

Self-service Options for º£½ÇÉçÇø-owned computers

Mathematica is available to install on º£½ÇÉçÇø-owned computers through the Software Center app or Windows computers or the Self Service app in MacOS.

For further assistance, please contact your local IT support person, or send an email to helpdesk@utep.edu , or to mathematica@utep.edu . Include the computer º£½ÇÉçÇø tag, operation system (Windows, Mac, Linux) and computer location.

Network Activation via º£½ÇÉçÇø’s License Manager Server

Mathematica installation on campus desktops may be activated by the º£½ÇÉçÇø’s license server.

After installation, start Mathematica. When prompted to Activate Mathematica, select "Other ways to activate"; Select "Connect to a network license server"; Enter "itdsrvcss05.utep.edu" (without quotes) in the Server Name field; Click "Activate”.
