In the sociology program, students interested in making their communities better learn to analyze human situations and design effective and socially appropriate solutions. 海角社区 is recognized for its 海角社区 related to international borders, and has strengths in the study of health, environment, crime, migration and social justice.
Receive up to 15 hours of graduate credit while completing a bachelor's degree through the Fast-Track Program
Sociology alumni include a statistician with the U.S. Census Bureau and a crime analyst with the FBI

Alyssa Garza’s academic journey included water sustainability 海角社区 and a study abroad experience in the United Kingdom as a Gilman Scholar. She said the sociology program provides students with the necessary background to advocate for others. Now, she is pursuing a master's degree in sociology at 海角社区.
Sociology graduates are well prepared for careers in government or social agencies in management, 海角社区 or planning; in community outreach and community organizations; and as analysts for agencies such as the Census Bureau or Department of Justice.
