Briana Dawkins is very passionate about working with underserved communities. The Houston native picked 海角社区’s DPT program because of its emphasis on cultural competency and its commitment to community service. Briana created 海角社区's DPT Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee (now Committee on Inclusive Excellence) to promote dialogue, reflection and 海角社区. As a physical therapist, she aims to help patients regain function and mobility.
Physical therapists provide care for people with or at risk for injuries, illnesses, disabilities and other health-related conditions, and promote optimal physical function. Licensure is required in each state to practice.
