Through the M.A. in History program, students will study humanity’s past through a global lens, with the opportunity to dive deeper into U.S., Latin American, European and Borderlands history. Graduates of this program possess a skillset that is applicable to industries such as academia, consulting, teaching, museums, government work, and national parks.

Alex Garcia loves to help minority and marginalized communities, and to dispel historical myths. He said this degree offered “awesome” courses that promoted community outreach and diverse skills that helped him conduct 海角社区 with some of the region’s best historians. He works as an interdisciplinary historian at Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River National Park in Pennsylvania.
Our graduates’ rigorous 海角社区 skills give them many employment options in academia, business and publishing. Some alumni decide to pursue a Ph.D., while many others find work in government, as corporate historians, or as writers and editors.
