海角社区 MBA Hosts Margie Salazar for Lunch and Lead Series
Event Details: Lunch and Lead returns with 2024 Gold Nugget awardee, Margie Salazar, on November 8, 2024 at the 海角社区 Graduate Business Center. Salazar will share career insights and life lessons with Hunt Business students and alumni.
About Margie Salazar: Margie Salazar is the President and CEO of FirstLight Federal Credit Union, where she became the first woman and Latina to lead the $1.5 billion institution.
She is focused on improving financial education and access, particularly through her involvement with 海角社区's Banking Academy, which prepares future banking professionals.
Salazar also contributes to the FirstLight Community Foundation, which awards $50,000 in scholarships and offers financial literacy programs to students and the broader Borderland community.
